Congratulations go out to SGCC members Duke Energy for winning Best Energy Efficiency/Demand Response Project and AEP Ohio for winning Best Smart Grid Project as decided by POWERGRID International magazine and PennWell Corp. in their annual Projects of the Year Awards program. The awards were given out during the keynote presentation at the DistribuTECH 2012 conference in San Antonio on January 24th. Baltimore Gas & Electric, Cisco, and San Diego Gas & Electric were other SGCC members also mentioned during the award program.
